A beautiful lake, originally used as a fishing ground for the von Uchtenhagen manor. Fishing still takes place there today. It's easily accessible from the southwestern shore, and those who dare can even jump in. There are also a few designated swimming areas. But it's usually the anglers who are there. A lovely, idyllic lake. But nowhere near as mystical as Lake Baasee 😉

The Großer Lindsee seems to change color from beer bottle green to ocher depending on the weather or mood. A narrow path leads all around. The stairs at the end of the lake that lead up to the hiking trail are quite overgrown. But you can still get up.
