Created in the 16th century, this pond, fed by the Gruna River, remains one of Rammenau's most beautiful bodies of water.

The timber mill was built in the 17th century to process timber from the surrounding forests. It was not only a sawmill, but also a malt mill, a bone crusher, and an oil mill. At the same time, it also held the right to bake. Today, it is a listed building, and the sawmills only operate occasionally. It was impressive to see that the current sawmill owner is still practicing his craft at the age of 77.
