On the northwest side there is a five meter deep cavity, the Schinderhanneshöhle. This is said to have been a camp of the robber captain. Visiting caves can be dangerous. When it comes to safety in all caves, please behave as if you were the first to climb. "If you are in going to a cave ... don't take anything with you, leave nothing behind do not destroy anything and do not kill anything! " According to Section 39 of the Federal Nature Conservation Act, the bat protection period begins on October 1st and ends on March 31st.
