Föhren Castle dates back to the 14th century and was last rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1663. An architectural highlight in the Ruwertal - Grünhaus Castle

Worth seeing ! Grünhaus Castle is located on the western slope of the Ruwertal. The name 'Grünhaus' appears for the first time in 1334. It was one of the largest wineries in the imperial abbey of St. Maximin '.

The Schloss Grünhaus houses a winery (www.maximingruenhaus.de). The beginnings of the winery date back to the 16th century. In the premises of the castle is also a branch of the registry office Ruwer.

Around the year 1760, the family of Pidoll had a Baroque castle built northwest of Quint. It served as the residential and administrative building of the director of Quinter Eisenhütte, which was later purchased by Klöckner-Werke AG. Together with the Kaiserhammer and Wolfskaulweiher, this castle is a piece of industrial history in the Trier region. Currently the castle is for sale.
