High above the Leinebergland, between Alfeld and Hildesheim, lies the Wernershöhe Cultural Hostel. The fitness trail is in a wonderful location and runs in a circuit across the forest with relatively easy up and down stretches. In November weather, however, you should not wear slippery shoes, it slips quite a bit. Then once you find the first station (which gave me some trouble) it's easy to follow the trail. Always good for a short stop, whether by bike or on foot.

Be careful, sometimes mountain bikers shoot past here at high speed, so be careful when leaving the hut. 😮
