High above the Leinebergland, between Alfeld and Hildesheim, lies the Wernershöhe Cultural Hostel. The fitness trail is in a wonderful location and runs in a circuit across the forest with relatively easy up and down stretches. In November weather, however, you should not wear slippery shoes, it slips quite a bit. Then once you find the first station (which gave me some trouble) it's easy to follow the trail. Be careful, sometimes mountain bikers shoot past here at high speed, so be careful when leaving the hut. 😮
