The Schweppermann cycle path runs between Högling and Hiltersdorf past the idyllic Teufelsweiher pond. The western part is a bit more demanding, the eastern part runs on level ground through the Amberg-Bodenwöhrer Bay.

the trail starts at the bathing pond with the beautiful hut and leads not difficult, always following the Grimmerbach, to the Grimmertal youth hostel.

A Hüll or Himmelsweiher - i.e. a body of water with no inflow or outflow - is located here at the site of a former settlement called Eggenberg. It belonged temporarily to the Ensdorf monastery and housed the sheep farm. It later went into private ownership. Around 1860 the Bavarian state bought Hog and Grund, demolished the buildings and reforested them. Today only the shell can be seen. In our arid region, such water points were rare and valuable. They were partly of natural origin, partly they were created artificially. Human (and animal) settlement at this point, far from other water sources, would otherwise not have been possible.

With a size of approx. 14 ha, the Haidweiher is the largest still water in the municipality of Kümmersbruck and in the entire district of Amberg-Sulzbach. It is a pond (drainable) with extensive reed beds, which is an important breeding, resting and food habitat for numerous bird species and an important amphibian spawning area. The Haidweiher is fed over the Bruckwiesengraben. Due to its structurally rich bank area, it contributes to the high reproduction of various fish species. Whitefish, perch, carp and tench are at home here. Pike and pikeperch feel very comfortable and grow quickly and stately. The Haidweiher water ski club is also located here, and it regularly hosts important national and international championships. Sport and fishing have an excellent relationship here.
