The village pond is located in the center of the small Eifel village of Pitscheid, on the corner of Kapellenstrasse and Weiherstrasse. A nice sight that the hiker can also enjoy at a seating area for a short rest.

The pond in the course of the Geissenbach is good for a rest at any time of the year. The network of paths connects Scheuerheck, Gut Unterdicket and the Martinstuhl, so it can be used for different rounds.

The ponds themselves are very idyllic and most of the paths are good. Unfortunately, Komoot had sent me down the worst trail (at least for gravel bikes).

Like a string of pearls, there are 7 large fish ponds in the middle of the forest, which are fed by the "Hunnensiefen" brook. From here you can reach the Madbachtalsperre in a few minutes. The ponds are idyllically situated. The first picture shows a giant bench "as it has grown".
