The wooden Kling is a chain of rock that was separated by the construction of the railway. Only the front part with the rock gate and cave can be admired via the Altmühltal cycle path, the other rocks of the wooden Kling can be reached if you drive over the tracks at the barrier in Hagenacker and then immediately afterwards turn right up the path along the tracks, then not on the Panoramaweg but always along the tracks. There is the backwater of the Altmühl, also created during the construction of the railway line. There you go directly to the actual wooden Kling.
