The Lourdes Grotto is the name given to Marian grottos that are replicas of the Grotto of Massabielle near Lourdes in southern France and Our Lady of Lourdes. Saint Bernadette claims to have seen the Mother of God in this grotto in 1858. At the site of the Marian apparitions, a Madonna figure adorns the grotto, the original of which was created for Massabielle by Joseph-Hugues Fabisch in 1864 based on Bernadette's instructions. From the cave castle you have a great view of the city and the Traun valley. However, you should park your bike and walk around the castle. If you want to visit the castle from the inside, there are tours or tastings of the brewery. But you have to book both in advance.
