Yes, it is useful - or, if you prefer this word, practical - to know a hiking car park as the starting point for your tour, or to find it here in the komoot system when planning. However, I personally imagine something nicer as a real "highlight" that would deserve this name...

A true insider tip are the little brothers of the famous Blautopf here in the valley on the edge of Schelklingen. Both the Achtopf and the Urspringtopf impress with their blue color, just like their "big" relative in nearby Blaubeuren. The water's name, "Topf," reflects its bowl-like shape. Karst springs are usually the end of a cave system, where a cave stream reaches the earth's surface. Whether one enjoys the bright blue of these two springs depends on external influences, as the striking blue color of the water is caused by the scattering of light from the lime-saturated spring water.

Beautifully situated next to an old mill. A place with a very special flair.

Small hiking car park between Mühlen and Besserenfeld, nice starting point for hikes or bike tours.

Significantly less crowded than the Blautopf

One of two "pots" at Urspring. Oh and Urspring flow together here, the Urspring pot is at the monastery. Less crowded than the famous Blautopf. Nice to pause.
