Beautiful nature all around. Benches for a relaxing break. Definitely worth a visit.

The "Hofewiese" beer garden, lined with large trees, is located next to a horse farm. The buildings belonging to the "Hofewiese" are currently being restored. This was once the foal breeding ground of Augustus the Strong, and hay for the horses was harvested in the stable yard. The construction work will not disrupt beer garden operations. The beautiful and spacious beer garden offers Wi-Fi, card payments, food and drinks, and covered seating. The Hofewiese is always worth a trip. There is a great beer garden in the middle of nature. Regional food and drinks are also offered at a moderate price. There is plenty of space for children to play and run around. Absolutely recommended for walkers, hikers and cyclists.

In winter when there is frost, the reservoir is accessible and a short trip to the reservoir island is possible.
