I passed by here on my hike "Eider Valley with Blue Bridge." The mountain hut was unnecessary that day.

The Hohburg is a small group of wooden houses in the forest.

The long swimming area has its own parking space, a football field, a barbecue area, a swing and a bench.

The Hohburg area is private and you are asked not to enter the footbridge. But you can hike through at any time of the year.

Bathing area with water slide, bathing jetty, sunbathing area with small playground and barbecue area. There is also a partner bank with a beautiful view of the lake. Waterfowl, who have enough retreat possibilities, feel comfortable on this.

From this refuge you have an unobstructed view over the Eider lowlands with the Galloways.

I'm in favor of christening this place as: JR56 Youth Consecration.

The refuge on the hill is the starting point for some flowing descents. Short stairs and steps around the "summit hut" are great for technique training for beginners.
