Very nice hike through the mill valley. Many mills under renovation, but still lots of eye-catchers and photo opportunities. A beautiful valley, right on your doorstep.😍 You don't always have to drive far. In autumn, the steep road past the mills is a bit slippery, even with hiking boots

The large number of mills that have been preserved here not only bear witness to the ancient craft tradition and the ability of man to harness the power of flowing water. They are also a sign of agriculture and grain cultivation, as there was obviously a need for several mills to grind the grain.
