The local group of the GDR Cultural Association redesigned the area in 1976. This spring water has been sought after since the 1930s for the traditional “Easter water fetching”. On the other hand, drinking coffee with Easter water brings good luck for the whole year. However, no word may be spoken until you reach the spring. A water analysis does not certify that the “Forzwasser” is of official drinking water quality, but a hike with a rest at the popular spot in the forest between Thalheim and Jahnsdorf is worthwhile at any time of year...
