サイクリング休暇ではガイド付きツアーも組み込んでいますが、残念ながら今日は城でのツアーはありませんでした。詳細は https://www.gaestefuehrer-unterschwaningen.de/ をご覧ください。現在のバロック様式の城は、1603年から1620年にかけてヨハン・フィリップ・フックス・フォン・ビンバッハの下で、建築家ブラジウス・ベルワルト・ジュニアによって建設されました。ウンターシュヴァンニンゲンは、アンシュバッハのマルクグラーフィン、クリスティアーネ・シャルロッテ・フォン・ヴュルテンベルク（1694年～1729年）とその嫁、フリーデリケ・ルイーゼ・フォン・プロイセン（1714年～1784年）の下で特別な最盛期を迎えました。彼女たちは城に壮麗なロココ装飾を施し、印象的な三位一体教会を建設させました。1738年から1743年にかけて城の建築家レオポルド・レッティによって建てられたこの教会は、この地域で最も重要なバロック様式の聖堂建築の一つであり、町の最も高い場所から遠くまで見渡せる場所にそびえ立っています。

Unterschwaningen Castle is a former moated castle and later castle of the Margraves of Ansbach on the northeast edge of Unterschwaningen in the Central Franconian district of Ansbach in Bavaria

Worth seeing facility, which can only be visited from the outside. The castle was once the summer residence of the Margravine of Ansbach and sister of "Alter Fritz".

Absolutely worth seeing facility with castle and associated landscape park. Admission is currently €15 and contributes to the maintenance of the facility. The castle park was laid out by the "green" Baron Süsskind, who did almost all the planting here himself.
