The walk around Lake Crivitz is about 3 kilometers long and is a beautiful one. It's a really nice place to walk.

A great egret has also noticed that there are a lot of fish here and seems to find plenty of prey here. Unfortunately, the herons are very shy, and as soon as I took a photo, it took off into the air...

Swimming in the Crivitzer See is prohibited, but you can walk around the lake with a short walk of just over 3 km.

The Crivitzer See is a shallow water lake and is located in the area of the town of the same name Crivitz in the west of the district of Ludwigslust-Parchim. A larger peninsula juts out into the lake right next to the city.

On September 5th, 1792, a strong tornado hit Lake Crivitz, sucked large amounts of water and fish out of the water and let it rain down over the city. A phenomenon that has only rarely happened worldwide and that is remembered in different ways in the cityscape. On the one hand through the Fischregen sculpture on the Crivitzer lake promenade, on the other hand through handmade precious metal fish, which you can buy and have attached to the sidewalk in front of your own house or on your own house wall. A lap around the lake on well-developed paths is about 3.5 km long

Groß Niendorf lies in a flat landscape without any major elevations. The place is in the middle of the town square of Sternberg, Goldberg, Crivitz and Parchim. The municipality of Groß Niendorf, which was independent until 2011, was administered by the Parchimer Umland office. It was the smallest and northernmost congregation in office. The districts of Groß Niendorf, Hohenpritzer settlement and Ruester settlement belonged to it. From 2012 the community came as a district to Zölkow. The small town has about 230 inhabitants today. The bronze bell without an inscription was recast in 1878 and hangs in the free-standing belfry erected in 2015. Small pond as the center of the village with water lilies and frogs. The pond is surrounded by willows. In 2007, part of the film Novemberkind, starring actress Anna Maria Mühe, was shot in Groß Niendorf.
