The kingfisher enchants observers with the symphony of colors in its plumage and is therefore often called a "flying gem" or a "flying diamond." The kingfishers are no longer seen there, but there are new nesting boxes on the pond near the entrance. They appear there from time to time. They are best seen in the morning, right when the park opens.

A long sandy bay creates a relaxed beach atmosphere. Sun loungers and play equipment can be borrowed from the lifeguard on request. The water quality is excellent and is regularly monitored during the bathing season. The natural pool is open during the season (beginning of May to end of August) from Tuesday to Friday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting. On Saturdays, Sundays and during the summer holidays, the pool is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
