An absolute must, especially for the heather blossom!!!

This pond also radiates: Peace, nature, nature

The blooming heather nestles over the hilly landscape. As a contrast, there are individual trees in the heathland and at the edge a forest forms the border that encloses the area. I like that you can get different looks by turning around the body axis. That really makes you want to drive around or over the next hill. The paths are very well laid out for hiking. Cyclists have to push their bikes downhill or carry them uphill on some passages if you want to go down into the valley. There are solid and very sandy paths in the valley. Since these paths run through the landscape like a network, cyclists can always find a way to reach their destination. I won't drive down the valley when it's raining.

The mill looks beautiful. When you come out of the rose garden, you come out in this small place and can rest at a mosaic table at the rest area opposite the mill and look at the mill pond. top!

The rest area at the pond is great. You sit opposite the mill and even have a stone mosaic table to eat on.

There is a hiking trail around the Appelbeker See and the deer enclosure.

There is a pedal boat rental, a small playground, a snack / kiosk and a large restaurant. Everything there to make yourself a relaxing afternoon.

The paths are very sandy - in between a lot of roots on the way. Mountain bike strongly recommended.
