One of the typical ponds that you often find in the Waldviertel, always nice to see.

This small pond is particularly impressive in autumn due to the large, colorful trees that surround the pond. But also in other seasons you can refresh yourself in the cool water or enjoy a break on the small meadow.

Blindenmarkt is my birthplace, I grew up there, I know pretty much everything there! At the Auseen I've bathed countless times, in the evening when most of the hustle and bustle was over I went swimming, that was the most beautiful time! The bathing lakes were created by the motorway construction, because they needed gravel, they dug for gravel and then the water came and that was the beginning of the Auseen. Of course it used to look very different, the lakes have been around since 1960 and a lot has been done since then! On hot days in summer, the lakes are a very popular destination, there are a lot of bathers, and parking spaces are rare! There is a lake festival once a year in July. Right on the lake there are two snack shops, a toilet and a restaurant and the second restaurant is about a km away from the lake and the village is about two km away!

This pond is an idyll for walking and swimming!

To the north of Ysper, the 3-Teich-Weg winds its way through the green landscape. The forest pond is surrounded by tall trees, which are particularly colorful in autumn. A small meadow invites you to rest and cool off.

These three artificially created lakes are a welcome refreshment option in the leisure area or the perfect setting when sitting in the outdoor dining area. Two inns, a café and a beach buffet ensure your physical well-being. Dogs are allowed on the grounds, but not in the water.
