There is a public bathing area by the larger pond, delimited by wooden fences, with shady and sunny sunbathing areas, a wooden terrace and two gravel water accesses for the bathing break in between. Free access during opening hours, no dogs allowed! Currently there is a newly designed campsite in a natural environment on most of the site. All of the 28 generously proportioned pitches are located on the banks of the pond, in the first or second row. Separate dog area. https://www.pielachtalcamping.at/ From Thursday to Sunday, a Heuriger, the Seestadl, is open on site and offers the opportunity to stop off. https://seestadl.at/ Good starting point for campers who can start their bike tours from here. An underpass takes you directly to the Pielachtal cycle path and you can go on interesting routes. In Ober-Grafendorf there is a connecting path to the Traisental cycle path. Bike maps available at reception or in the Hofstetten municipal office.

The castle was built and named by Albrecht von Perg (1120, † 1168), a member of the family of the Lords of Perg and Machland. After the Perg family died out, half of the castle passed directly to the Babenbergs, and the remaining half to the County of Plain and its successors, the County of Schaunberg. At the end of the 19th century, extensive reconstruction work was carried out under the Auersperg family. The castle was devastated during World War II in 1945. Since 1995, it has been owned by the Weinberger family and is being gradually renovated.
