There's a road and it's a bit developed now, but the lake remains very peaceful and beautiful. It's worth the detour. You can camp there easily, but it can get very cold in winter ❄️

A busy national road for quickly reaching Tetouan and Chefchouan. There's a bit of traffic, but overall the road is wide and cars don't drive too fast. There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants along the way for a break.

One of the two lakes at around 2100 m above sea level.

There are picnic areas. The man-made lake dried up in August 2024. The park is free and is well watered and maintained.

Garden with free entry near the airport. It is an old olive grove and in the middle of the garden there is a large water basin. We stopped here on the way to the airport (2 stops before Arriondas). I wouldn't come here specifically.
