The history of the Anabaptists is very interesting and this site (cave) has a lot to tell. Good shoes are an advantage, although I always walk very well in barefoot shoes, especially on paths like this. We were out and about in sunshine ☀️, in November, but it is cool in the cave, so please not only wear good shoes, but also appropriate clothing 😉. I hope you have a lot of fun 🙋🏻♂️

Luckily, it's still mostly an insider tip. When the lakes are already lukewarm in midsummer, it's still really refreshing here. Cool "bathtubs", impressive ways to cool off. Great. Driving ban on weekends, so not too crowded.

Connects the communities of Pfäffikon ZH and Hittnau (Balchenstal mill). Good for a walk, a hike, a Sunday excursion or a bike trail. This place offers something for everyone and has space for everyone!
