The Fichtensee is not a natural lake, but rather a man-made body of water created at an altitude of 1,700 meters, a width of 95 meters, and a depth of 12 meters. The lake is a fun place for children and adults to swim in, and pedal boats, parasols, and loungers are available for rent for a fee. A wonderful bathing experience in the heart of the Zillertal Alps with a magnificent natural panorama.

From here, you have a beautiful view of the mountains with their beautiful flower meadows and valleys in the Zillertal. A feast for the eyes for nature lovers and hikers.

There is also a good refreshment point there.

You can never get enough of this view! It's wonderful, especially for holidaymakers.

Park at the reservoir above the Zellvweg Stüberl

The Schlitters swimming lake is located directly at the entrance to the Zillertal. The beautiful complex with large, well-maintained lawns, walkways, park-like vegetation and the lake with pleasant water temperatures makes you want to dive straight into the swimming fun. Height: 548 m Area: 0.11 km² Depth: 4.8 m Average water temperature: 21.5°C Season: May to September daily from 10am to 6pm

We were here at the beginning of May, unfortunately everything was closed. Most of them start again at the end of May. But it's always worth driving up there and enjoying the view 😌
