Very beautiful, well-appointed cave where you can eat together

Unfortunately, the cave was completely overrun with visitors when I visited. Therefore, I recommend not visiting this place on the weekend, unless you want to enjoy the deliciously fragrant grilled food that is offered right next to the cave. The cave is surrounded by many legends and stories about meerkats and meerkat women. A visit is definitely worth it, whether to enjoy a delicious lunch or to take in the mystical surroundings.

The Bruderhöhle can be found on maps from 1840. There are many stories and legends surrounding the karst cave. The cave was renovated by the municipality of Effingen in 2017 and is now freely accessible again. There are several nice barbecue areas here, in front of the cave or above the stairs.

The mining here is interesting.

If you come by here (in the afternoon) you can visit one of the oldest stalactite caves in Germany. But above all, the cycle path along the Hasel to the mouth of the Wehra in Wehr-Öflingen is beautifully situated
