A very narrow trail. Often exposed, partially secured with steel cables. Marked, but sometimes difficult to find due to heavy overgrowth. In some places, the path has completely collapsed. Recommended only for very experienced hikers and only in good, dry weather.

The Mühlauer Bach is a left tributary of the Inn in Innsbruck, from the north chain of the Karwendel. The Mühlauer Bach rises in the area of the Arzler Reis [s] e, the cirque below the Arzler Scharte between the Mandlspitze (2366 m above sea level) and Rumer Spitze. It breaks through the northern low mountain range in a southerly direction through the Mühlauer Klamm and flows to Innsbruck-Mühlau. The last section of the stream is piped. Up to the confluence with the Inn, it is approx. 3.5 km long and lies - with the exception of the source on the Rumer Alm - entirely within Innsbruck's urban area.
