I can only agree with the last tip. We have had less than stellar service recently, not felt especially welcome and the cycle provision is not good. As recommended head onto the Dovecote at Moreton. If you get a coffee the cafe is the best for quality but you have to drink it in the Cafe. When we asked to have our coffee in a flask they were not keen. Lovely aspect whcih you can se in the great photo. Good spot when doing any number of walks in Puddletown forest and around. Harye's Cottace neatby - I think you have to book with he National Trust currently.

Good place to enjoy some wildlife and nature in Weymouth. Had a little picnic there on the way back from Weymouth to Dorchester. There are a few of these pontoons or walkways out into h lake along this stretch.

Great nature reserve effectively in the middle of Weymouth.

Radipole Lake is a nature reserve managed by the RSPB. The reed beds and water channels are home to a variety of birds and animals including kingfishers and otters.
