Lovely cycle path. Nice pub on route just off of cycle path with good food but a little expensive. Route has nice views

Llewellyn Bridge is a Victorian stone-bridge that was reconstructed in 2013. Close-by is the iconic waterfall and Penllergare Upper Lake.

Penllergare’s iconic waterfall is a manmade feature constructed on the River Llan to provide an ornamental lake.

Set amongst the stunning mountain scenery of the Mawr, the Lower Lliw reservoir is surrounded by a variety of habitats including bracken, scrub, grass and woodland, supporting a variety of wildlife. If you're into birding, keep an eye out for Peregrine, Kestrel, Raven, Wheatear, Meadow Pipit, Skylark, Whinchat, Red Kite and Curlew - which have all been spotted here. There is an accessible path to the South of Lower Lliw Reservoir that will take you all the way to the Upper Reservoir. The circular path closer to the shore-line features steep steps in places.

Great place to canoe or SUP. Organised tours can be arranged or you can self-launch, with permission.

Llanelli's wetland centre is a vast area of ponds, marshes and enclosures. There's plenty of amazing birdwatching to be had here, from native herons to Caribbean flamingoes calling the centre home. The Millennium Coastal Path cycle and hiking route goes past the centre and it's easy to visit. Would recommend walking to the waterfall it's such a great walk and plenty to see
