Tiring but certainly among the best routes. Mixed terrain, important health and my day was quite demanding, the weather was not favorable and I found everything from sun to rain and fog (or brought home wet clothes and a great satisfaction) I recommend the experience.

In addition to Lake Garda and the plain below, from this panoramic point between the towns of Garda and Bardolino it is possible to observe the green mountains that surround the lake. They are visible both on the other side of the lake and towards the hinterland.

The Passo dei Lumini takes its name from the hamlet of San Zeno di Montagna with around 150 inhabitants. According to tradition, the name of the small village derives from the presence, in ancient times, of packs of wolves kept away with fires which, from a distance, at night, looked like lights.
