Enchanting little cove, can be accessed by road, or via a steepish descent down the Cleveland Way (from north or south). If you are walking the Cleveland Way, don't miss a similar, but smaller, cove just 600m south where Stoupe Beck drains out over Stoupe Beck Sands. Please note that the Cleveland Way south out of Boggle Hole is closed as at July 2024. There are very clear information boards erected showing the diversion around a couple of fields, which will bring you back onto the Cleveland Way at Stoupe Beck. When I passed through, the closure was to remain in effect until Nov 2024.

Isolated stone shooting house on Whorlton Moor that dates from the 19th century. Useful landmark as it is visible from miles around.

The Lion Inn on remote Blakey Ridge is a 16th Century family owned, Freehouse. Located at the highest point of the North York Moors National Park, it stands at an elevation of 1,325 feet offering breathtaking views over the valleys of Rosedale and Farndale. Steeped in history, open fires burn in the ancient stone fireplaces. The original low beamed ceilings and stone walls add to the friendly, timeless atmosphere of the Inn. Food served daily from 12 - 9pm.

Wonderful inn for bikepackers. Food, drinks by the fire and a cozy room for an acceptable amount.

Public footpath enabling you to cut east from Arnsgill Ridge on Snilesworth Moor onto Cow Ridge heading southeast to Hawnby Moor.

Wonderful inn where you can eat and drink well, but also sleep well after a long day of cycling. Good place for bikepackers.
