The Burcham Park Trail is a 1.5 mile long paved trail that runs through the park with the same name. The path is on the banks of the Kansas River and will at times, give you good views of the water.

At the end of the peninsula is Daisy Point & offers great panoramic views of Lake Perry. It's also a great spot to see bald eagles along the lakeshore.

Located on the west side of Perry Lake, the Perry Lake Mountain Bike Trails feature 24 miles of single track and were build specifically for mountain biking.

Perry Lake is approximately 11,150 acres with over 160 miles of shoreline. It has the nickname "Paradise on the Plains" and is a very popular destination with it's close proximity to Topeka and Kansas City.

The trailhead is a great spot from which to access the hiking and biking trails along the western coast of Perry Lake. This area is often a good spot to see quail, turkey, and bald eagles. The trailhead is within state park lands and requires a cash only $5 parking fee.

Daisy Point brings you to a peninsula offering panoramic views of Lake Perry. Keep an eye our for bald eagles along the lakeshore! The small isthmus leading to Daisy Point may be submerged when water levels are high.

Perry Lake, nicknamed "Paradise of the Plains" was created in 1966 for recreation and flood control by damming the Delaware River.
