A nice place to stay

Nørresø Lake, situated near the historic town of Viborg, is a serene and scenic spot perfect for nature lovers. The lake is surrounded by beautiful landscapes, making it ideal for walking, cycling, or birdwatching.

Bølling Sø is a beautiful lake between the municipalities of Engesvang, Funder and Kragelund in Central Jutland. The lake with an area of 360 hectares was recreated between 2004 and 2005 on the water west of Silkeborg. https://www.visitsilkeborg.de/silkeborg/erkunden/bolling-so-gdk953296

Lake Hald is also a very good swimming / bathing spot - the best in central part of Jutland. There is both good access at the most southern point where there is a pier with a ladder down to shallow water https://goo.gl/maps/LeeXbfu9t5C5ht8b8 and in the north end where there is a club with a sauna that takes a dip all winter http://haldege.itj.dk. The southern pier is most popular with open water swimmers that can be seen from spring into the autumn wearing wetsuits. First in July and August is the lake hot enough for longer swims in bathing suit, but you can easily take a shorter dip.
