A hall church from the 15th century, renovated between 1691 and 1695. The western roof tower has a spire and lantern.

At the entrance to Töttleben, looking back, in the distance is the hill we crossed a few hours ago. The small village church is beautiful, with the village pond in front of it. Churches are always worth a visit. They give travelers a place to relax and rest.

The Hopfgarten dam near Weimar serves to protect against flooding and to increase the low water levels of the Gramme, a tributary of the Unstrut. The barrier structure is a 368 m long and 15 m high earth dam. It is also a swimming lake, there are beautiful secluded spots around the reservoir.

We like to walk here with our dog because it is pleasant and quiet here... except in summer of course :)

The name of Lake Luther refers to its proximity to Lutherstein. The Luthersee will form a natural unity with the neighboring Bergweg and Schafteich lakes as landscape lakes, which will only be accessible through hiking and cycling paths. The comparatively small Luthersee is being developed as a landscape lake. The lake got its name from the blade, a ditch that temporarily carried water and whose course to the north is clearly visible from the accompanying trees. Two hectares of land have already been reforested between the south bank and Luthersteinweg. The Klingesee, which z. B. by reforestation of bank sections, well integrated into the landscape, should be designed as a recreational lake.
