Due to large agricultural operations and biogas plants in the vicinity, heavy oncoming traffic with very large and fast machines can be expected all day long, especially during the harvest season, and at times there will be dirty roads and confusing road junctions and field exits!

Good asphalt, little traffic

A dream! It was my first time cycling through the moor and suddenly I came across this little lake. Unfortunately, I had to leave the bike behind and first walk the small path to the five swans. A very quiet and relaxed place!

I discovered the lake by chance while cycling and immediately went on a hike with my family the next day. Everyone thought it was very nice.

The Lundener See is somehow a mystical place. You are almost always all alone here, only in summer the mosquitoes dispute your place😊.

You have never seen anything like this up here in the north around Hamburg!

Anyone who moves in the Nienwohlder Moor and passes the lake must take the time to linger a little. The lake cannot be walked around, it can only be walked on on one side. But there is also a lot to observe on this side. A rich bird life and for experienced observers even a pond turtle.

A nice place to take a 15 minute break and watch the water.
