The first part along the Ninglinspo is beautiful, it is also a super tourist attraction so it can be a bit more crowded. Once the walking route continues you can continue to enjoy a beautiful walking path in nature with less people around you.

The Coo waterfall is artificial. Starting from a simple waterfall that appeared in the 15th century, the monks of Stavelot Abbey dug the large waterfall, crossing a meander of the river, to protect the village of Petit-Coo. The fact remains that it is very impressive and at its height of 15 meters is the pride of Belgium.

Wonderfully wild water. 💕 Often enough I have hiked to "waterfalls" that ended up being just disappointing little streams that trickled over a small rocky step. You may know that too. 😉 But these waterfalls really deserve their name (especially now in spring). 👍 The water is wonderfully loud.
