The area is known for its peaceful walking trails and diverse natural landscape, making it a popular destination for both recreationists and nature lovers. The Klaverberg is not only an oasis of greenery but also an area with a fascinating historical background: for centuries, it was part of farmland and ancient heathlands used by local residents for grazing and fuel extraction. From the 19th century onward, parts of it were planted with conifers, which contributes to the diverse woodland today.
