The lake is clearly visible if we walk on the grassy dam, while on the other sides it is covered by vegetation. It is a beautiful body of water on the hill between Chieri and Castelnuovo

A fifteenth-century castle, much altered over time, which now presents a mix of traditional architecture and neo-Gothic modifications. It is used to host events, so it is difficult to enter and visit it up close. However, it is immersed in a beautiful setting, with a small lake in which the structure is reflected, trees, other buildings of relevance: a stunning view even from the outside. Reachable via easy dirt roads (and a paved stretch between two dirt roads...), on a cycle-tourist route, it is worth a visit.

Lake of Arignano

Lake Arignano, located about 20 kilometers east of Turin, is an artificial basin of medieval origin, recently restored and reopened to the public. Surrounded by hills and fields, the lake is now an important refuge for wildlife and an ideal place for walking and outdoor activities.

Located in the homonymous municipality in the province of Turin, Lake Arignano was created artificially centuries ago and is still the largest body of water on the Turin hills. It can only be reached via dirt roads and paths and bathing is prohibited.

Remembrance Park for the Fallen of the First World War. Next to it, a small park with a playground, benches and lots of shade. In front, a small lake. Very nice place, worth a stop.

At the gates of Buttigliera, on via Nevizzano and the SP16 (via Villanova), there is the Remembrance Park in memory of the local fallen (73) and the nearby church dedicated to San Bernardo di Chiaravalle. A peaceful spot with an artificial lake in front and good for a stop along the way.
