Langen Castle was 500m away. In 1798 the outbuildings burned down. The manor house was also dilapidated. The new manor house was then built on the current site. The current manor house is a two-story sandstone building with a neo-Gothic tower. Today turtles and goldfish live here. When the weather is nice, the turtles sunbathe on the warm stone wall.
