Coal Creek Trail is a paved path that runs alongside the river and passes by Veterans Park, connecting with the park and other trails in the area. The park serves as a memorial to those who fought in various wars, with dedicated sections, including one honoring the 240 Korean soldiers who won a battle against a much larger army without any casualties.

Coal Creek has a small waterfall at the end of the Cedar Canyon Trail, which makes a refreshing place to take a rest and observe the nature around you.

This is a smooth paved trail following the river all the way. It’s a perfect trail to contemplate the landscape and see the different layers of rock that form the canyon. Along the way, you can find informative boards explaining the geology.

You've made it this far so take some time to stretch your legs and enjoy the view. There are toilets and a small picnic area here, was well as a short trail the the Timber Creek Overlook. While there isn't a bike rack there are fences you can lock your bike to if you want to explore the hiking trail.

This road is a great ride through some truly breathtaking landscapes. However, you will need to be on your toes as the road is very narrow is some places with little to no shoulder. That being said, if you take your time and enjoy the views you will love it and it will leave you longing to come back.

The Kolob Reservoir is more like a lake. You can come here to hike, fish, camp or just relax. There is no fee to pay, just be early to get a nice spot on the side of the lake. It is filled with trouts.

Kolob Terrace Road stretch for miles through the back country of Zion National Park. If the crowds in the main part of the park are too much for you then this is the place to explore. Just be aware that this is a very remote area and you'll need to be prepared to self rescue should you encounter any trouble.

Located right along Gap Road, the sandstone at this spot is filled with petroglyphs. There is a small parking lot where you can pull off the road and get a closer look at the petroglyphs.
