Evergreen is a large woodland park with miles of hiking and biking trails. It's bordered on 2 sides by other parks, making for a massive contiguous park area. In addition to the trails the parks also have picnic areas, playgrounds, a pond, and a disc golf course.

The 6.5-mile Lake to Lake Trail runs from Long Lake in the north to Mauthe Lake in the south. It's made of compacted gravel so just about any bike will do on this flat trail that passes through woodlands, meadows, lowland swamps, and the small village of Dundee.

This route leads through both parts of the Kettle Moraine Forests – incredible landscapes forged by glaciers during the last Ice Age. You follow mostly county and local roads which wind through hills and forests. This area is perfect for hiking, biking, camping and cross-country skiing.

There are four loops, all of which are really fun and add up to an 5.5 mile mountain bike route. If you're looking for a flowy adventure on your mountain bike, this is your go-to place.

Tamarack Circle Trail goes around Lake Mauthe, within the northern part of the Kettle moraine state forest.

A beautiful lake! You can take a walk and circumnavigate it: a unique experience for children and adults.
