It is located several tens of meters above the first Yeonhwabong peak. There is a tall summit stone installed on the rock, and there is no dangerous section at all up to the peak. The no-entry sign installed next to the summit is completely incomprehensible.

The bathroom was recently renovated and is very clean. It is a good place to do some maintenance before going up to the top.

The temple was founded in 643. In 850 it was destroyed by fire and rebuilt in 1852 by two monks. In 1951 during the Korean War, the temple was burned down again and restored to its current appearance in 1954.
