Highly recommended tour with Himalayan feeling

A rarely used but steep path that saves you the climb up the boring forest road. You are rewarded with variety and great views. The trail markings are often difficult to make out, but there is only one way 😉

Ideal opportunity for a break on the ascent to the Tölzer Hütte... unfortunately without a view

The newly renovated Tölzer Hütte is worth an overnight stay... however, the food prices under the new tenant are very outrageous... there are better huts in the immediate vicinity

The hut has certainly benefited from the conversion, the guest room has been well integrated into the old building. The host is a nice and easy going guy. I had the night off for the climate. The food was exceptionally good, all freshly made and not canned.

Drive slowly, otherwise you will quickly pass the sign. 😉
