The river widens here and the current slows down, so you can step off the stones into the water... a wonderful way to cool off on hot days

A pool below a rapid on the way to Rainbow Falls. Swimming is only partially suitable, as the banks are overgrown and the river is very nutrient-rich, especially after rainfall.
