The predecessor of the church in Hergensweiler is a stone church built in 1108, of which the tower substructure is still preserved today. The current building was built in 1712. Inside the baroque building you can see a beautiful ceiling fresco and carved Stations of the Cross.

The bridge is no longer there. When there is a lot of water, it is not possible to cross the stream (unless you take your shoes off and walk through it - that worked fine). When there is little water, according to locals, there are large stones and a wire rope to hold on to, which make it possible to cross at that point.

Great place to take a break at Lorenz. Shady and with a bench and table, with a beautiful panorama of Leiblach.

On the small paths you can make many meters of altitude.

There is even a pilgrim stamp.
