What a lovely little valley with a waterfall at the end, even though there wasn't much water in early spring, but no matter, the detour was worth it.

The St. Chrischona television tower, also known as the St. Chrischona transmitting station, is a 250-meter-high television tower operated by Swisscom in the municipality of Bettingen, northeast of Basel. Its topographically advantageous location on the St. Chrischona mountain, from which it takes its name, makes the tower a crucial component in broadcasting coverage for northwestern Switzerland. Currently, a tree is lying across the ravine; it has also destroyed the stair railing! (November 2025)

small waterfall... with a bench

A very beautiful, small waterfall with interesting deposits, located in the middle of the countryside. The small paths to the waterfall are very slippery, especially during long periods of rain. The Ruschbach valley is also well worth seeing.
