Sublime viewpoint over the Conflent and the Canigó massif. It is a very beautiful climb on a road in a precarious state, especially in the final part of the climb. In addition to exceeding 2000 meters of altitude, the climb is attractive because you cross a practice area of the French army, coming across 2 or 3 abandoned tanks. The views from the top are beautiful, but you have to walk a distance on foot from the end of the road. It is also common to come across deer and other animals since the road is rarely traveled by cars.

The Puig de Gallinàs is a 2,622.3 m high mountain located on a northern buttress of the axis of the main mountain range of the Pyrenees, between the communal areas of Fontpedrosa and Toès i Entrevalls, both in the Conflent region. The Coll Mitjà separates it from Puig Rodon in a southerly direction. The panoramic views are spectacular; Carlit, Perics to the north, Massís del Canigó to the east and the Cordal del Noufonts to the south.
