From the Ricardo Codorniú Visitor Centre, a very long forest track leads up to this mountain pass.

Pico de los Almeces, at 1,123 meters, is the highest point in the Sierra de Ricote mountain range. Reaching it is a challenge for hiking enthusiasts, but the reward is well worth it: breathtaking panoramic views, unspoiled nature, and a unique sense of accomplishment. The circular route is approximately 17 km long, with an elevation gain of 770 meters. It begins on the outskirts of the town of Ricote and winds through stunning natural landscapes, passing through pine forests, rosemary bushes, and trails that meander through the mountains.

Very beautiful loop starting from La Perdrix which leads to Morrón de Alhama via the Portillo pass, the Blanco pass and the descent via Carascoy.

A beautiful, pleasant, and short, linear round-trip hiking route around the Murcian town of Calabardina.

The path is closed from January to June (nature conservation). Violation is subject to a fine of EUR 3,000.

The summit of the Peñas Blancas offers exciting views of the surrounding mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. Hikers are rewarded by silent nature all around, and the nearby Refugio can serve as a place to have a short break before the descent.
