The Chozo del Quiñonero shepherd's hut has been restored with care for the traditional architecture of the building and represents the transhumance culture that for centuries was the economic and social driving force of the rural world. The building has an enclosed area with a circular vault, intended as a shelter for the shepherds, and another with a plant roof for the animals' stables.

A shelter with walls made of bone. It has a fireplace, a large wooden bench where you can put your sleeping bags, a wooden shelf and several nails in the beams to hang backpacks. It has field mice, so it is advisable to leave food well closed or even outside.

On the Camino de los Tintos you can see two shepherds' huts on the edge of the road, the first one is of good size and shows the circular vaulted construction typical of this type of rustic rural constructions.

Close to Pezuela and well preserved, located in a place with a very beautiful environment, in the middle of spring it must be a spectacle.

In times of cold and wind it may be necessary to have a place to shelter, as this bivouac is there in case you need it.

The Pinganillo Free Shelter is a wild hut located in the Community of Madrid. It is located near the Vivero Forestal forest and Bailanderos peak. If you are interested in exploring the area, you can follow the route to the El Pinganillo shelter from Miraflores de la Sierra. This hiking route will take you on a beautiful route in the mountains, with impressive views and the possibility of enjoying nature. In addition, there are other nearby routes that will allow you to explore the area, such as the one that leads to La Najarra and Bailanderos, passing through Arroyo Aguilón and Chozo del Pinganillo. Aljibe :-) About 50 meters up the slope there is a spring flowing out of a small cistern

small shelter for 2-4 people with a good fireplace (although with a lot of air) and well furnished. the views are spectacular. It's worth the climb.
