Lots of camping spots. Postcard views. Access to the island is only possible on foot or by bike.

Amazing camping spot. In the middle of a nice forest, there are different paths to go to the sandy beach and this one is perfect for cyclists because the last part of the path is more narrow so no cars will come! There is a fireplace and dry toilet.

During the summer some parts of the ski trails are swampy and muddy. I ran/hiked the long route in July 2023 through the swamp. I saw five black vipers. There were definately more. Some people had gone through with dirt bikes. Those tracks actually helped me, even though I first detested seeing machine made marks in the nature. There was a bizzarre working water fountain alongside the river. It was made of steel and was brown from rust. Before and after the swamp there were decent trails. Would I go trail running that long route again? Probably not. But I am really happy that I chose to go see the place.

This church with the shiny silver shingle wood look is one of the pearls of wooden architecture. The work of art was constructed of wood and fragile clapboards and without a single iron nail.

From here on, go only at your own peril and risk, if you are sure that you will pass. I went through several swampy sections, bypassed some, at the last I decided that it was not worth further.
