The Grade II listed parkland is filled with veteran trees and offers sweeping views to distant hills. It's an actively managed / farming landscape and some of the sheep here are rare breeds.

Someone thoughtfully left a bucket of oats for this forest pony, who seems to have grazed all the surrounding grass.

Pencombe is a small beautiful village. Surrounded by fabulous views and few climbing.

Built around 1166, the ruined chapel at Brockhampton is one of the longest-standing man-made features of the estate. It was added to over the years, including by the Domulton family, who built the 'new' manor house in the 1400s.

Brockhampton Manor is a picturesque, moated manor house built over 600 years ago. It is surrounded by 1,700 acres of estate with woodland, parkland, farmland and over 65 acres of orchards. NT members/paid entry to the main area but there are good footpaths around the wider estate, including the Herefordshire Trail, a 153 mile circular route.

Great views. Nice place for taking a break

The trig point at the top of Hegdon Hill stands at 255m, making this peaceful summit officially a Marilyn. The views out across miles of rolling Herefordshire countryside are well worth the climb, and nearby Hegdon Hill Vineyard is well worth a visit, too.
